I was Doug
On the little quiz that i stole from Katie, I was, in fact, Doug. However i did not feel like doing the whole copy and past thing, so there. So yeah, I did come back about a week ago. The beach was nice. Red tide. Tons of dead fish. And it smelled. Like dead fish. And you coughed when you went outside. And there was this one day when everyone's eyes irritated them so much we all had to put eye drops in them. I am sooo happy to be home. But yeah, it was fun. I got to go on jet ski. Now I get to take typhoid pills because I'm going to Peru. And I'm going to see a llama. Don't worry, I'm going to bring one back for each of you. The cranky cat makes me laugh. I'm doing this for Heather because she's in Ohio
1. Think of the first word that comes to mind when you think of me. 2. Go to images.google.com and search for that word. 3. Reply to this post with one of the pictures on the first page of results (don't tell me the word) (or, if you don't know html to do this, just post the link). 4. Put this in your own journal so that I can do the same. Current Mood: scaredCurrent Music: Natalie McMaster | | Thursday, June 9th, 2005 | | 1:21 pm |
I am departing
I am sorry. However, it is true. I am leaving for Long Boat Key. I shall be gone for a week. No more, no less. I shall miss you all. None of you are allowed to have any kind of tie-dye or burning parties without me. I do however permit you to have mourning parties. (Yay for oxymorons!) But I know you wouldn't be able to bear it. Cheer up. You can make it through, I have confidence. On a lighter note: I saw the polar bear yesterday!!! Lost - whole reason I watch that show. It made me very happy! =) And there promises to be another in the near future. If i don't miss it next week. So if you guys do have a burning party, I'll forgive you if you tape that episode for me. =) So peace out guys! I'm not really worried - but look at that cat! The Proclaimers are Scottish
That makes me happy. I thought they were Canadian, I don't know why. But they're Scottish, yay! I want to have a cookie baking party. So yeah, not much happening here. Current Mood: pleasedCurrent Music: Led Zeppelin | | Tuesday, May 17th, 2005 | | 7:27 pm |

Today is a blue day!
This is my research poem. I hope Ms Pearson appreciates the 17 minutes i put into this. The Phoenicopteridae By Rose Kinane The Phoenicopteridae is the common flamingo; It can be a challenge to understand scientific lingo. It belongs to the class Aves – that would be birds. Don’t you wish zoologists would use regular words! Phoenicopteridae have very long legs And usually lay less than two eggs. This creature has a habit of being non-migratory, And alkaline or saline lakes are their main territory. It is known that the lesser flamingo is smallest; The greater flamingo is considered the tallest. Phoenicopteridae are found in many countries, including Peru. There is an average of 71 of them at the zoo. The Phoenicopteridae’s eyes are on either side of their head, And after 44 years they are usually dead. The Phoenicopteridae’s chicks are grey or white; As adults their feathers can be light or bright. No matter what the tone, the feathers are pink, That’s enough about flamingos - don’t you think? Cha cha cha You Are Jasmine! Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate. Which Disney Princess Are You?
Gilded cage of life, love poverty. Me in a nutshell. Yay! she's from Aladdin, like that tiger. Twice in one day. Happy now?

Its the ides of May!
Ok well if Heather commands, What else is there to do? Hola gentes! Thats "wazzup my peeps" for those of you in French (Ashton). So my life in the past ummm...month, o dear. Well I saw Our Town twice cuz I'm just that supportive. I heard from many audience members that it was depressing, so i guess it was very successful (if thats what it was supposed to be). Well other than that not much I can think of. I got to number 1200 something on my ipod! But then Cassie touched it. I renamed my cat Steve. I've had pineapple pizza four times this week for dinner. As of today I hadn't started my poetry project. Peace out everyone! Current Mood: peacefulCurrent Music: Enya | | Wednesday, April 13th, 2005 | | 5:52 pm |
574 days until I get my braces off!
I went to the orthodontist today! It was exciting. I spent an hour there, was forced to miss Concert Choir, and all they did was look at me and say, "I don't know what to do with your mouth." and then the guy in charge who smiles way too much said, "Oo a challenge!" And they did absolutely nothing else. I got green shoes! Not just flip-flops, actual shoes. Cassie's back from Venezuela and if she's reading this she's not calling the NOB ticket office. I can not believe she forgot that number, it is the easiest number to remember in the world (ok maybe not, but its still pretty easy). No Tiempo escriber anymore. W00T for NOB! W00T for Cary (who's in NOB and downloaded all his songs onto my ipod)! 15 out of 3350. I'm making progress. The more I write on this thing the less sense I make. (Note last entry which was ages ago). My computer ate my hw. Really I promise. Hooray for Severe Weather coditions. And more rehearsals. :) I wouldn't even realize Cassie is in Nebraska if Jordan didn't tell me during lunch. Ok one more. Hooray for Green flip-flops! I love the 22!
Why? No real reason. I just do. I got my hair cut today. I needed it very badly. There was a guy who worked there who seemed extraordinarily gay and the lady who washed my hair said it felt like chlorine. How can that be when I can't even remember the last time I was in a pool. Its kind of upsetting. I watched Clueless for the first time today. And I spent the whole day yesterday shopping. Many a green thing was bought. I enjoyed today by doing nothing, reading, listening to music, folding clothes (I find that fun btw, goin' on the computer. I haven't started reading history or learning ions yet. O well, I figure if I do it now I'll forget by Monday anyway. Ta-ta for now. Maybe I'll go to the n.com. Its the first day of Spring!
Hooray for Spring Break! My computer works again. I'm sure you all noticed the unusual amount of time i was on the computer about two weeks ago, and i'm sure you guys all knew about my new computer. Well it broke down. Got a virus or somethun'. anyway i haven't been on the computer for more than a week. And since it is now spring break it is highly unlikely i am ever going to get off. I luv chain emails. Heather was phenomenal last night! We had much fun and there was in fact free food. I hadn't had peanut butter cookies in the longest time. Hooray for Holly, Nicole, Cassie, and Mark who were also there! There after party was an interesting (but fun) experience. I'm going bowling tonight! I'm going shopping tomorrow! Today felt like Monday
My dove promise of the day : Share a smile with someone you love. Yesterday felt like Friday. Just felt like sharing that. It rained today. A lot. I got wet. Very wet. Just felt like sharing that. Then I had to walk home. In the rain. Hooray for spring! Current Mood: wet | | Tuesday, March 8th, 2005 | | 1:07 pm |
March 8th sounds important
Doesn't it though? Today was an abnormal day. It began with some lady yelling at us to get into our portables because it was going to pour. I made it in great time, and in fact it did pour as I'm sure Heather will verify as being true. FCAT is kinda nice, actually. I get plenty of reading time and the work in other classes isn't strenuous. But sitting for such a long period of time staring at a test can really make me tired for the rest of the day. Anyway, to make a long story short, Jordan did strange things at lunch and I don't remember doing anything academical in any of my other classes. But I am updating for the third day in a row. And the future looks promising now that I have my own computer. BTW anyone who happens to be staying late at EPCOT and out of the kindness of their heart wishes to give me a ride home, that would be delightful! ta ta for now! And also the men's song "Rise Up My Love" definitely gives me Rose of Sharon flashbacks. "For low, the winter is past..." Rosita esta aqui
I got my new computer! with internet access. It's all mine, not my dad's in the least bit. And the keyboard is clean. I am happy. My life is good. No complaints. I'm wearing downy green slippers and i finished off all the lemon pasrty cremes and peanut butter cookies. I also successfully finished my first book since school began. My own book, not some Gilgamesh or Okonkwo nonsense. I used to read so much before high school. The background of my computer is plaid, which makes me happy. But not just any plaid. Green and pink plaid which, if I may take from Kaitlin, is the color of roses. not plaid of course, although that might be interesting. I can not possibly fill in everything that has happened to me since i last updated, so I would like to end on the note that Therese has chickens. That fact has made an impact on my life and you guys are not going to hear the end of it for a long, long time. Friday!!!
Hooray, it's Friday! I do not enjoy pep rallies in the least bit. Sure it's our only short day, but it is quite possible that i would rather go to class. Therese and I were going to skip and hide out in the bathroom, but that just would not work out for me. I'm not going to the dance tonight. Regards to chorus. Speaking of which the "party" today did not involve food. Quite disappointing. Attendance was taken. Hope everyone has fun tonight who's going. The anxious cat is really funny looking. I cannot WAIt until i get internet access on my own computer. Oh yeah, and we got those perfect match things today. Lindsi's my best friend!! It's exciting. I really love that cat.
